PC is a dream of mine I started when I saw the other options out there for my own furry family. It started out simple enough as a safe space to house pups while friends were gone. As years went by I delved deeper in my curiosity and passion for animals. Not only was there a high demand for the environment I had created, but a strong need for understanding between the human and canine. There are a lot of good intentions, yet confusion in communication. I started building bridges in the gaps for clients. Showing them how to redirect their animals and play games to build stronger bonds. Opening up our home and heart isn't enough for me, I want us to see our canine's true capabilities by presenting them with great friends and opportunites to grow and learn.

We adopted Lily when she was 10 months old. She had a couple different owners before she found her forever home with us. Because of all of the instability in her short life, she was driven by fear. Shortly after we adopted her, a friend recommended we bring her to Gina at Pawsitive Charleston. Bringing her to Gina was the best decision we could have made for Lily! She has learned how to appropriately play, socialize and let go of some of her fear. Reinforcing the lessons Lily learned at daycare, along with using the tips and tricks from Gina has turned Lily into a different dog with a much more enjoyable life. We are so thankful for Gina opening her home to our little Lily Bear!
We met Gina at a community event in July 2021. We had shared our story of our rescue, Snickers, who was reactive and how our dream of having a pack was diminished due to his behavioral issues. She suggested allowing Snickers come to her daycare so she could observe him fully and see if he was salvageable. She explained how she socializes
We met Gina at a community event in July 2021. We had shared our story of our rescue, Snickers, who was reactive and how our dream of having a pack was diminished due to his behavioral issues. She suggested allowing Snickers come to her daycare so she could observe him fully and see if he was salvageable. She explained how she socializes and brings dogs together in a safe and positive manner, which typically alleviates improper socialization. By December, Gina helped us adopt our second pup, Nacho. Fast forward again to August 2023 and we adopted our third rescue. Now we have the pack we always wanted and Snickers has many friends.
"Gina is the best kept secret in town! When I decided to adopt, my first stop was Gina's. My hound, Clifton, had been in a kill shelter and needed full support and encouragement at every level. Gina has been our guiding light on all facets of his development. Fast forward two years - Clifton is a fun-loving, soulful man. When Gina suggested we meet with one of her foster surrenders (Molly) we knew instantly that adding her to the family was the right decision. Gina has worked with Molly to easily adapt to our ways. We are now a pack of four and could not be happier!"
